Payment in full is required for all training and events. We will be happy to offer a full refund if cancellation is requested 14 or more days prior to the start of a course. Partial refunds will be considered if cancellation is requested within 14 days, but no less than 48 hours of the course start. No refunds will be issued for cancellation within 48 hours of the start of a course, except in the case of extenuating circumstances, such as illness, injuries or other emergencies.

We will issue a full refund in the event that a course needs to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances on our end.

Registration can be transferred to a later course with no additional fees, if requested 14 days before the original course start date. Changes within 14 days of the original course start date will be charged an administrative fee.

In order for us to offer the best learning environment we suggest that you register for our courses 14 days before the course start date, but are happy to accept learners who register within two days of the course start date (just be prepared to do your pre-reading!)

At Canadian Outdoor Med, we take safety seriously. We have had to make a paradigm shift in how we conduct our courses to ensure we are safe and following best practice – but for us in the business of risk management, this is simply another risk to add to the matrix of decisions we use to make sure staff and students are safe. We will be conducting a risk screening on the first day of the course as well as following physical distancing during all portions of the course, and training you in the new normal for best practice for PPE use for mountain bike guides. We will move slowly, safely, and calmly to ensure an optimal educational experience and safety.
